In-Person Practice
We warmly welcome you to practice in person at our community’s practice abode. Your presence supports fellow practitioners and nurtures mindfulness, kindness & compassion, and mutual care. Practicing together encourages steadiness and offers opportunities to understand anatta (non-self): by noticing our attachment to “I,” “me,” and “mine,” we can learn to hold our preferences more lightly and respond to one another with greater wisdom and kindness. Through our community practice, we hope to deepen our sense of connection and provide a meaningful space to learn from one another.
As practitioners, we also share responsibility for caring for this space. Keeping it clean, using resources mindfully, and helping with tasks are ways to bring the Dharma into everyday action and keep the abode welcoming for all.
